All kids up to 3rd grade are invited to join us at Trinity on Sunday, April 14 at 4:00pm for our Easter Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt will be divided into age groups so everyone can enjoy the event. We will meet downstairs before dismissing students to the egg hunt outside (hunt will be indoors if there is rain). We are asking parents to please provide 12 filled eggs per child attending. Filled eggs should be small trinkets or wrapped candies (no loose candy, i.e. jelly beans). Please place donated eggs in the designated bin located downstairs in the fellowship hall outside of room number 6 by the morning of the Easter egg Hunt on April 14. After the Egg Hunt, everyone is invited to attend our potluck dinner at 5:00pm to kick off Holy Week.
Batter up! Spring and softball season are right around the corner. Once again, Trinity will be participating in the All Faiths Co-Ed Softball League. Games will be played Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., starting April 16 through mid-July. Players must be 16 years of age or older in order to participate. There will be a few practices on Tuesdays at 6:30 beginning April 2. Questions? See Gary Turk or Mike Ralph. To sign up, complete the form here.
On Sunday, March 31, the fellowship hall will be transformed into an Italian bistro as our youth hosts their annual “A Night in Italy” themed dinner fundraiser for their summer mission trip. Advanced tickets are $12 ($15 at the door). Children 10 and under eat free. Ticket includes all-you-can-eat salad, pasta, and dessert, plus live music. There will be two dinner seating times at 5pm and 6:30pm. Pick up tickets in between Sunday worship services on March 17, 24, or 31.
Trinity Women! Clean out your closets and clear your calendars for Friday, March 22nd, an evening of 'exchange' - women's clothing, accessories, shoes, and unused toiletries. Donations may be dropped off in the church between February 24 and March 17.
All women are welcome to donate and/or attend. Doors open at 5:30pm. The evening will begin with a short message, then time to shop and snack. All remaining items will be donated to 'Choices of the Heart' choicesoftheheart.com.
We are looking for volunteers to help organize donations in the weeks leading up to the exchange as well as some to help serve during the event. Looks for the signup sheet in the church lobby or contact Deb Mongiardo.
Need help getting your yard ready for the spring? On Saturday, April 6, one of our youth teams will come to your home to remove leaves, pick up debris, lay mulch, etc. for a donation to our youth mission team.
We ask that all donations be given on day of work upon completion. We also ask that someone from your family be available at your home during our time of work to provide instruction and assistance if needed.
If you would like for the youth to come to your home, please fill out a form found in the Sunday bulletin and leave in the youth director’s mailbox by Sunday, March 31.
Spring will be coming before you know it. We are once again looking for volunteers to cut the grass for the Softball Field and Parking Area.
The calendar shows Monday for the Softball Field, but it could be cut on Monday or Tuesday. The calendar shows Friday for the Parking Area, but it could be cut on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. This will give you some flexibility in your schedule.
Please sign up if interested, or just give us a call. If you need help getting started on the mower, please let us know. We will be happy to give you a tutorial on the mower and show you the cutting areas.
Thanks for volunteering!
Engage is back starting February 20. Come join us on Wednesday nights for food, fellowship, and an opportunity to engage God’s word and one another. Our evening begins at 6:00pm with dinner together around the tables. By 6:45pm we will shift into our adult Bible studies. This season, we will have studies specially for men and women and other studies to be announced.
Our Engage Kids program will be back as well. This season, their theme is “Put on the Whole Armor of God.” Kids in grades PreK–6th are invited to join us for fun, themed activities and time in God’s word. Childcare for younger children is also available if needed.
There’s no need to sign up, just show up. We’ll have baskets available for a love offering toward the evening’s meal. If you can’t make it for dinner, you’re welcome to come at 6:45 and join the evening programs.
